Linux adalah Unix clone,
kernel nya ditulis oleh Linus
Torvalds dan dikembangkan
dengan bantuan programer
dan hackers dari seluruh
dunia.

Linux is a Unix clone, its kernel
written by Linus Torvalds and
developed with the help of
programmers and hackers from
around the world.
Linux has all the features of which is
owned by Unix, including
multitasking, virtual memory,
shared libraries, demand loading,
shared copy-on-write exexutables,
proper memory management and
TCP / IP networking. With the
feature class 'real operating system'
does not make Linux a very
expensive, even Linux may be
obtained free of charge. Even so
there is little charge that only a
distribution fee or purchase cd.


in this world there are many Linux
distro or distribution. For
example Ubuntu, Debian, Backtrack,
Slackware, Fedora etc
